UK seas boiled in 2023 — 2.9°C above normal for over two weeks. 🌊🔥

Scientists say it was “unprecedented, but not unexpected” — a 1-in-10 yearly event in today’s climate.

The ocean is losing its balance, and with it, so are we.

It is outrageous that parliamentary authorities have rejected @declassifieduk.org’s application for a press pass.

This is a flagrant attempt to suppress investigative journalism.

I have tabled an EDM urging the authorities to reverse this decision.

Good news! The #RentersRightsBill has received royal assent - this landmark legislation will give vital protections to the millions of private renters in the UK. A happy day.

Now it's time to tackle the next crisis facing renters - affordability. That must include rent controls.

But that narrative is pushed by the fossil fuel industry, and it's a lie

Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

A TIMELINE OF CORRUPTION

State power has been weaponised to protect profit - including through the corrupting of law by oil & arms.

Big Oil has known for decades that their products will fuel climate collapse, so they routinely fund the silencing of those who oppose them.

After days of overloading and cracks propagating, Birch Glacier collapsed today at 3.24 pm over Blatten and the dammed Lonza river...
