One of the most brilliantly devious licks I’ve ever pulled is when I had a powerful music supervisor I knew lie and tell Migos’s management she was considering “Bad and Boujee” for an Apple spot and needed them to make a mix with only the instrumental and ad libs, just so I could have it.
