A few weeks ago, I made a ditch effort to submit 40% of a manuscript to a publisher, just so I knew what the submission process would be like.

I wasn't anticipating it to be actually accepted, but after the month I've had, the rejection stings a little.

But! We move, we keep going 🤷‍♀️

I'm not going to lie. Yesterday had me nearly giving up hope. Reviewing my outline made me really unhappy with some chapters and aspects of the story. It kicked off a lot of self-doubt and nearly had me giving up writing.

But today, I'm trying again, reviewing, reworking, moving forward.
