It doesn't feel wrong in itself. It's just things guys say. I know there are genuine guys out there and I've met one of two but honestly, men put stuff in profiles which just isn't there to attract women. It's to impress or compare themselves with other men.

Joking aside I do actually but myself Xmas presents. If I see something I really like but can't justify later in the year I buy it and put it away to have at Xmas.
