I am not a Sustainability expert.

Yes, you heard me, I don’t consider myself as a Sustainability expert, and I truly believe that it is what made me good at my job as Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer, and now Non-Executive Director, sitting on the Sustainability Committee

Little kids have to seat in a 35 deg classroom, with no AC and windows with no blinds and sometimes no insulation. This is happening today, in France.

On the teachers' side, there is the possibility of exercising the right of withdrawal after getting the approval from their academy.

I don’t want to know how high the temperature was and if we beat any record. I only know that it was so hot that we just had no solution to cool down and carry on with normal activities. At least we could make that choice, when many people have to go to work outside in these terrible conditions

Anyone in Europe the last few days has been suffering. I’m in Correze, French department with superb landscapes, and lots of rain. For the last 5 days I’ve been living like a vampire. Blinds are closed, rooms are dark and I’m not going outside in the daytime, if I do, I might burst into flames

The little girl in this photo is now 30. The other one… well, let’s not talk numbers.

Like many people, I used to do seasonal wardrobe clear-outs. If I hadn’t worn something for two seasons, it was donated. (Resale apps weren’t a thing back then.)

𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔!

When I left my previous company, that is the word that came up the most from my boss’ farewell speech.

I think it might have been his polite way of saying that I was super pushy . Either way, I took it is a compliment and proof that I did my job well.

Isn't life great? No more need for insect repellent on a nice summer evening, enjoying a terrace drink 🦟 🦟 🦟 . No more need to clean the windscreen after a long motorway journey, no more risk of swallowing a fly when cycling in the countryside 🪰 🪰 🪰

This week is National Pet week in the UK

I think Nelson will be happy here!

In celebration, here is a couple of pictures of Nelson.
First one, hiding a sock in his mouth, with a very “innocent” look.
Second one - "Mum, what don’t you understand about me asking you to take me for a walk?"

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝑫𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒎𝒑 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒑𝒚?

After 100 days in power, we could very much question it.

Stay with me:
Who better to drive climate action from the inside than the president of the world’s largest economy?

Would you like to know what people will say about you once you’re dead?

This is what happened to Alfred Nobel. The legend said that when his brother Ludvig died, some newspapers published obituaries about Alfred in error. They condemned his invention of the dynamite:

The sun 🌞 revolves around the planet earth 🌎.

I looked at the sky. What I saw, and more importantly, what I felt, is that we are the centre of the universe and the sun ✨ is revolving around us.

Night time, in a city, I don’t see much, and based on that, I am certain the universe is empty 🌉.

Ok, bad start, shall we call it incentivised bonus to avoid the Q* taboo word? 1/9

✨ “If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit.” — Banksy 🌱

It is a good time for reflecting on life, on what happened in 2024, where we stand and what we want to do next.

OK, sometimes our New Year resolution is just to start another diet or a gym membership, which we will drop after a week. 1

Xmas is coming, so too the time for scratching our heads and looking for gifts.

Look me in the eyes 😵‍💫.

Do you give gifts for the sake of tradition? 🎁 Do you hate shopping expeditions where seemingly half of the country is visiting the same shopping street as you? 🚎
