Yes! It was difficult for me to find a copy of Parable of the Sower without going to Amazon but I found it on eBay and it should be here in a couple weeks.
I love to see the uptick in people getting interested in reading again.

Alright, I've finally officially removed all Meta apps, TikTok, and Twitter, from my phone. Took me a while because I had to follow all my contacts elsewhere and then there was a bug trying to delete one of my accounts. But it's DONE. I'm divested, and I feel great about it.

My library even has a cute little cafe and a tiny used bookstore 🥰
If you're looking for a place to do some work, the public library is like a coffeeshop where you don't need to buy anything and there's a lot more space and you can stay as long as you like and you don't get any coffee.

It's a double bind, by design. If you leave Meta there's one less person on the platform to speak out against the propaganda machine, and people are that much more divided. If you stay, they get to mine your data and feed you propaganda.
I'm torn. Leave Meta spaces & essentially give them what they want or remain & be a constant nuisance? I deactivated FB this week but keep thinking "why do they get to win by driving me away?"

Obviously fascism's threats are very real, and it's natural to fear those threats. But showing our fear only feeds the white supremacist, Christian nationalist egregore. Find something to replace your fear with. Nazis are just people. They're mortal pests. Treat them as such.
These men are WEAK. They're scared little losers who can't self actualize. Their darkness is unintegrated. They want us to be afraid because it's the only way they know how to feel powerful, but it's a false sense of power because 0% of it comes from within. It's an illusion to soothe their egos.
I was wondering why Elon Musk's sig heil made me cringe more than it made me afraid. This morning I realized it's because it betrays his lack of self awareness of his own incredibly deep spiritual emptiness. All the money, drugs, and fanboys in America can't save him from his own self loathing.
