Reading is so wild. Like, I’m simultaneously deciphering marks on a page and picturing the narrative those marks are conveying. I’m both in my body and also in the middle of the story. When I really think about it, I’m just so amazed that my brain can do all of that. Anyway! Carry on.

There is an enormous divide between evaluators of autism and what autistic self-advocates, and even autistic researchers of autism, have been saying for a long time. Example: I got evaluations from CA, MD, and KY this weekend. They all recommend working on eye contact and no stimming. #autism

I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't force neurodivergent or disabled or mentally unwell or chronically ill people to have their cameras on in online meetings.

And let people type questions in the chat- not just speak them out loud.

This is very basic inclusion!
