I’ve taken to calling Call JD Vance Pigboy in casual conversations.
A thing Dems should steal from Trump to keep stuff like this in the public consciousness is hammering nicknames to keep these things top of mind. He's not Pete Hegseth anymore he's "Signal Pete Hegseth" or "Signal Pete" or just "Signal"
Keep talking about the Signal security lapse at the Pentagon. The media may have forgotten about it, but the voters have not.

First video here, just saying hello!

I’ve just realized that I haven’t been posting anywhere in quite a while… not here, TikTok, Clapper, or even the book of faces.

I’m stuck in a doom scrolling loop. Kinda sick of that, tbh.

Yeah! TikTok is back!
Or is it?
It seems very different. For instance, lives were down all day yesterday and most of this morning…
And has anyone seen or heard a peep about any protests? I even searched for protests and came up empty. I find it hard to believe.

And just when I was going to write a whole series about TikTok, it’s back online.

I’ll be happy later, right now I’m too worried about having the rug pulled out from under me again.

One of the hard parts of the TikTok ban has been the roller coaster ride of hope and despair. Even now, after TikTok pulled the plug, there’s more uncertainty. The longer statement was from last night, the short one, this morning.

Feels good when you can save your daughter $480 by doing the (quoted $600) car repair for her.

And I didn’t even have any extra bolts!

I’m thinking about rearranging the front room this weekend.

Let’s have a contest! How many bottle caps will I find under the couch?
(You cat owners will know this game)

My dog is sad because his daddy can’t seem to get any traction here either. 🤣

Aaah Saturday… where the anxieties from work give way to the guilt of all the stuff I’m supposed to be doing instead of sipping coffee in my robe at noon.

☕️ coffee wins

How’d your presentation go, Phil?

One thing I’m really liking about Bluesky is that I’m seeing posts from around the world. What? No algorithm filtering posts by location?

It’s 11 am and I feel like this bee, I need a nap!

In the early days of Twitter, it was easy to make friends. Our group called ourselves “The Dobernerds” and we’d all get on and talk, joke, promote each other’s blogs, play music on blip. fm (remember that site?) and just have fun.

I get that vibe here.
It’s been a long time.

Everyone is thrilled with all the followers they’re getting, and here I sit with 9. (And I’m sure 2 of those are bots) 🤣

Remember back in the day, one of the deciding factors in choosing an ISP was how much space they’d give you for a personal website? Why isn’t that a thing anymore?

I got so used to being a quiet observer over on the dumpster fire, I forget I should post stuff once in a while.

Have to print this again, managed to snap the last one while taking it off the build plate. (I got impatient)

It says “love”

We need more of that.

I learned something this month… The albino squirrel that has been hanging around my bird feeders the last few years has been fruitful and multiplied.

The weekend after Halloween, I took down all my decorations. I had a pile of neatly coiled extension cords next to the driveway. I didn’t want to put them with the decorations because I’ll need them in a month for Christmas, so I put them __________.

Needed one today. No clue where they are! 😵‍💫
