I think the reason why Lilo & Stitch resonates with so many in the LGBTQ+ community is because it centers on a found family. This is something that a lot of people in this community deal with when rejected by other people after coming out.

The Day The Earth Blew Up is absolutely worth the hype and trip to the theaters!! You can practically feel every ounce of passion and hard work poured in this movie!! I’m genuinely blown away, definitely gonna check this out again tomorrow!! Don’t sleep on this movie y’all!!

How The Day the Earth Blew Up isn't being advertised as an event film is baffling to me. It shows everything that's wrong with recent live action remakes of 2D films. Some gags and exaggerated character designs work differently in 2D animation than they do with real world physics and proportions.
