In a podiverse saturated with US election commentary, this one is up there in the Don’t Skip list. Despite the obvious trauma these guys are going through it gives some great insight into the impact of what’s happened over the next 4 years.

Again I ask colleagues at the BBC and elsewhere to stop promoting Matt Goodwin. He’s no longer an academic, and his misuse of evidence amply demonstrates that.
Here @mehdirhasan.bsky.social politely asks Matt Goodwin whether he wants to correct his lie about the number of non-Brits in social housing.
Goodwin simply lies again and pretends he hasn't seen/doesn't believe the official data Hasan shows him.
