Picking battles is very easy actually, if a game uses generative AI it can go in the trash, where it goes after that is none of my concern. If a CEO insists on planting his feet firmly on the side of using gen AI he can live with the consequences of his actions. I am not obligated to buy anything.

AAA games really are an elaborate joke
Last night's biggest surprise was Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, led by Casey Hudson, who directed KOTOR (and Anthem). Exciting news for lots of people... but Lucasfilm says the studio was founded this year, which means that 2030 is an *optimistic* guess. Maybe it'll be a PlayStation 7 game
