Me, when a musical starts

She was unwanted & had clearly been shown little affection. Her back paws hadn't developed properly & when we adopted her, she used to stare at walls and yell. In time, we were able to teach her that people could be kind. In return she taught me that cats are fur-covered maniacs. I miss her still 💚

Today, the ENTIRE office went into a room for a meeting with the big cheese. I freak out in crowded rooms, so I politely declined. When everyone disappeared and I realised I had the entire open plan office to myself, this was me (apart from the gold tracksuit 😂)

I've deduced that there's something particularly comforting about the shoosh noise a cat makes when she rubs against me. In that moment, it makes everything alright in my little world.

Trevor was rescued from terrible conditions in an intensive farm in 2010. The name had stuck by the Spring of 2011 when she laid an egg and she'd come to her name when we called her. She gave the best hugs, knew who she hated, and went nuts for sweetcorn. Some of her ashes are in my tattoo of her ❤️

I didn't want my first post to be sad, but I want to pay tribute to Mr Fortesque-Smythe, who we lost on Tuesday to liver failure. Rescued as a blind chick, he lived a happy life with us for 7 years. He loved his 'dad' and bloody hated me. We miss you already, Fluffers 💔
