I am an American. I didn’t choose this. My emergence on this specific land mass was decided for me by generations of people who made choices to better their lives. They relocated chasing stability and peace for their family. I can’t help but feel that they did this all in vain.

I am an American. My country is being run into the ground by loud, entitled people screaming falsities into the void without evidence to support their claims. They are not right. They are just loud.

Chronic illness is hyping yourself up to do a big test, hoping it gives you some clarity as to why your body can’t function only to get no clear answers and more questions.

Sometimes parenting is drinking tea to try to un-tense while keeping a straight face while being yelled at because it’s bedtime and therefore you are a terrible parent and you should face the judgment of the eldritch horrors.
