My neighbors just up the street from us own A-squared pizza in Charlottesville, and their youngest was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
Their family is really nice, and this is a huge bummer right before the holidays. A GoFundMe has been set up for the family to help with everything.

With Night of the Hunter, Laughton made a film that could easily have been put on the stage. The lighting and theatricality have an ephemeral quality that blends fairy tale, noir, and puppet theatre. Even the rear projection doesn't feel dated because everything else is so stylized. Top 10 for me.
