I saw the Lilo & Stitch remake again today and they played the entire Smurfs trailer with the “Now that’s what I call a banger!” line, even though this is the Vue cinema that plays cut down trailers usually and there were over 100 people there witnessing it and I may have taken psychic damage.

I like how in the original Lilo & Stitch film there’s shots where Jumba looks big and menacing but others where he genuinely looks kind of small and adorable.

I’m not big on them either, but the hate has crossed the line that’s beyond personal and is a straight up obsessive grudge. These remakes didn’t fuck your wife, take the kids, kill your dog, and burn down your house, they’re just movies.

This’ll probably be the last time I say anything about the L&S remake. I know I’m going to sound like a broken record repeating things I’ve said before, but it always bears repeating because nobody on the internet learns because they’re blinded by rage for LA remakes. My advice is: just shut up.

A trailer for Sonic 3 has been classified with the title “Trailer A - Safe” to play before U Rated films in the UK. No idea if it’ll have new footage in at all or if it’ll literally just be a shorter version of the normal cinema trailer as that one is called “Trailer A”.
