By the by, both Oregon senators almost never have a real person pick up are mostly a message box so if you're got phone anxiety they are REALLY EASY to call. PLEASE CALL THEM. Ask them to protect Section 230 and oppose Kosa. ESPECIALLY SUZANNE who keeps giving me a canned email response about it.

The House just held a hearing on 19 (!!) bills related to "kids safety" including several that could mandate online ID checks / age verification, like KOSA and the SCREEN Act.

A lot of official apps suck these days not because of bad coding but rather all the telemetry data, bouncing data from multiple sources to track ya, and then processing it back to the app hence why it takes 15 years for a page to load on a store app.
