2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the biggest corporate tax cut in US history, increased tangible investment by 11%, and also increased wages but less than advertised by proponents. @omzidar.bsky.social: were the benefits worth the lost revenue?

Es war erwartbar, dass sich die Rufe nach Subventionen nochmal erhöhen werden gegeben den Erfolg der Brudermüller dieser Welt. Ich denke es gibt kritische Güter, aber entsprechend klar muss man diese definieren, wenn man nicht Tür und Tor öffnen will für Lobbyisten, die Verluste sozialisieren wollen
Der Staat sollte Siemens Energy nicht stützen. Hier sind Gläubiger und Aktionäre gefragt. Die Vorstellung, wir müssten in D mit staatlichen Hilfen Windräder produzieren statt sie zu importieren ist abwegig. Versorgungsrisiken sind viel geringer als bei kritischen Gütern wie etwa Medikamenten.
