After ~15 years in the profession, I've finally landed on a research/writing project that doesn't feel like a chore. Which is great but also omg what an ever expanding project how will it ever become a real thing and not just me getting excited about obscure midcentury documents.

I guess this is just like being around people with different politics, but being around people who seem to be willfully ignoring any of the problems with gen AI is so disorienting.
