I’ve actually normally had very good experiences! Or at least non-memorable ones.

This listing doesn’t have it, but a lot of listings do have a 3D walkthrough, which I think to most people outside of our worlds is easier to understand. But yeah, I’d love it there were just regular floor plans.

Surely a 66% chance that it will end, not that it has ended?

Ugh, I’m sorry that happened! That sucks. Off street parking is still legal to build, but it costs a lot to do so, so they main difference is that it’s now legal to build new triplexes for people who can’t afford a new triplex with off-street parking.

It seemed like they were so focused on blocking the entire package, and their energy drained when they realized that all that was happening was it getting more ambitious.

My understanding is that it’s owned by the lenders who repossessed it after the previous failed development attempt. In the long term it’s a great development site, but for now I doubt the Lloyd Center owners want any more site area to deal with.

Almost certainly I signed up for a free trial, but I genuinely can think of what local interest story in Eugene would have gotten me to take my credit card out of my wallet

But I do agree there’s a lot of opportunities to upgrade the existing system, some of which shouldn’t cost a fortune

If we ever do build SW Corridor, I do think it would do well as MAX with a tunnel under OHSU (not so much with an incredibly expensive rebuild of the portions of Barbur Blvd with no ridership + a Rube Goldberg machine up to OHSU)

I don’t even remember even reading a story in the Register Guard! I’ve only even been to Eugene once.
