Meanwhile, ditched the plastic cutting boards and am breathing some new life into some old scraped up wood boards. First time working with pure tung oil and D-limonene. Really liking the finish so far. Hoping to give them plenty of time to cure for water resistance.

Followup to the last post: ripped and glued the side panels and immediately ran out of wood I needed for shelves. Still cannot get a good grasp on what a board foot is.

Did my first larger board rips and glue ups last week and came out with 0 fingers lost and 2 successful side panels.
