I like how you discussed incorporating telling patients to not eliminate foods out and work on substitutions or different options. For healthy eating we should have a balanced diet with all the food groups rather than cutting a food group out completely. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I agree that compassion matters because if Tom received the support and proper care he would’ve been able to lose the weight much earlier. Tom wouldn’t have needed to go through those health scares if they didn’t make him feel ashamed of weight. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

Hi Isabella! This is such a shocking fact. There truly needs to be a change in school lunches so all kids,even those from low income households can receive a healthy lunch. This idea is linked to childhood obesity is more prevalent in those from lower income families. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I totally relate to this struggle. School and our other responsibilities does really keep us busy where you don’t have time to think about what to plan and prepare lunch. I often have so much on my mind that I forget about brining a lunch or I just grab something quick. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
