Yesterday at PotA Clark Winter, an artist (@itataminn on IG) approached me at the Amurru booth and asked if she could do a live portrait. It's always cool to have yourself be drawn by fellow-artists and even cooler because she's a traveling artist from Iloilo! What an awesome gift! 💚

Despite spending 3 nights in Olongapo, I still wasn't able to do more exploring than I planned. Because, one, I was still working (lol) and, two, it occasionally rained. There's one restaurant I was able to go to: Mr Taste, a Pakistani restaurant in Subic.

That gasp I made when I saw the overturned pots behind my apartment! Strong winds over the weekend probably knocked them over and uprooting the newly potted plant cuttings.

So I bought a new phone over the weekend and didn't realize that they included a new SIM card in the paper bag. The store didn't tell me about it or I would've opted not to get a SIM that I won't be using.

Googling how to opt out of marketing emails and SMS from banks and utilities because — (not) shockingly — their apps don't have that option. Kaso parang wala.
It looks like we have a PH law for opting out of SMS marketing but it looks like it's not being enforced at all.
