HHS is currently every C student that ignores the bibliography section on the term paper
An epidemiologist at Columbia had to issue a statement saying the research article RFK Jr. cited with her name is FAKE. It’s not real. The paper itself doesn’t EXIST.

Yall this is fascism. FAKE scientific articles used by the government to influence policy is FASCISM. This is horrifying.

As the horror of book bans continues apace, I find it revealing that the offense material is not only predominantly race and/or gender content but also “children’s butt and fart books”

At the core of the counterargument to Trumpism is the ideal that we are all in this together. There is no one who deserves neglect or suffering from the government because of their political views. Not even if they voted for the suffering of others.
If your response to this is “red states got what they voted for,” your indifference to human suffering makes me sick.
SCOOP— FEMA essential functions are at "high risk" of not functioning properly just days before hurricane season because of staffing shortages, per a recent internal memo obtained by The Handbasket.

These deficiencies "may disrupt life-saving and life-sustaining program delivery."

There are so many reasons to encourage young people to participate in sports: making friends, alleviating boredom, creating healthy habits for life. But consistently adults who target trans kids focus on one thing: winning. Imagine telling your kid the only thing they can do w any value is to win
this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...

As a public libraries professional, Alexandra Lange’s work on design and how children use public space sounds exactly like what I need to be reading. Kudos to the author

If you have children, you NEED a will. Don’t do some generic Nolo will either, many employers offer a prepaid legal plan in their benefits package. Use this to get a bomber will good for your state at a discount price.

Have a frank conversation with your parents about what’s in their wills.

Ask any nonwhite person with tattoos how they’ve been treated by police, they all have stories of unwelcome touching and picture taking. If you’re nonwhite with tattoos you are in a gang and it has been that way since The Wild One.
Mark Joseph Stern on the DOJ's insufficient answers on the Venezuelan migrants deportations, saying how tattoos like "simple innocent images were essentially rebranded as gang affiliation. It's absurd...it shows why this admin. did not want to grant these men any due process" #SaturdayShow

City fire and rescue is doing a big push to get free Narcan to the public, so I’m headed in early for Narcan training. What I want to know is, if it’s so easy a child can do it why do I need a one hour training?
