Participants were exposed to a social media post by the largest right-wing party (New Flemish Alliance, N-VA) in which it either accepts or rejects ruling with the main RWPP in Flanders (Vlaams Belang, VB). Findings reveal a main effect on propensity to vote (PTV) for the RWPP: in the inclusion condition the propensity to vote for the RWPP is significantly higher than in the exclusion condition; this holds particularly for policy-driven voters. Vandaag duiding in De Morgen over het doorbreken van het cordon sanitaire in Brecht & Izegem (naast de absolute meerderheid in Ninove, de coalitie in Ranst). Nationaal staat het cordon nog stevig, lokaal is meer mogelijk, en dat zal Van Grieken extra in de verf zetten www.demorgen.be/politiek/en-...
En de winnaar van de lokale verkiezingen is... dan toch Tom Van Grieken
Na Ninove en Ranst volgen Brecht en Izegem. Vlaanderen maakt de lokale doorbraak van uiterst rechts mee. Tom Van Grieken heeft zijn promomateriaal beet.
