With the official prognosis giving one additional seat to PVV and one to FvD compared to the ext poll, the narrative should really not be that the Netherlands/Jetten has beaten the radical right. The far right bloc remains remarkably stable.

Dit jaar zijn 35% van de kandidaten vrouw. In de top 10 zie je vrouwen nog best vaak terug. Maar… zodra je kijkt naar de gehele lijst en de écht verkiesbare plekken, nemen mannen het weer over.

In our new study, @rozemarijnvandijk.bsky.social and I looked at who gets interrupted during debates in the parliaments of 🇦🇺🇭🇷🇬🇧. We find that women and men get interrupted just as often. Yet, when more women join the debate, politicians interrupt less.

🗳️ Maandag was het de Dag van de Kandidaatstelling. De Kiesraad publiceerde vanochtend een proces-verbaal over kandidatenlijsten. Bij 15 van de 29 lijsten zijn er verzuimen geconstateerd - hier een overzicht. #TK2023
