@tshahan.bsky.social has much to do with me being a macro photographer. I can't recall exactly how I encountered his work, but , would later learn he lived in my state. His is the only macro photography class I have ever taken. The rest is history. My photo is of an immature Phidippus insignarius.

One of our remarkable bird sightings this past year was this Prothonotary Warbler at Point Pelee. We got exemplary views, but sometimes the bird was too close for our camera to even focus. #birds #birding #nature #BirdsofBluesky
