The larger issue here is that, according to credible public health experts, the UCP govt is imposing an ideological, anti-vax agenda that will undermine public health for many years. A baby needlessly died of measles in Alberta because its mother was unvaccinated. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Not only did the AER's CEO unlawfully interfere with the hearing process for Summit's Mine 14, he called the Minister's office for "input" pretty much as soon as the application for reconsideration came in. That's a foul.

Thomas Lukaszuk and Forever Canadian have issued a statement on the UCP’s refusal to provide the funding that Elections Alberta says they need to properly execute on the recalls and referendums.

That effectively fired the Auditor General.

Today Elections Alberta requested $13.5 million to be able to administer recalls and referendum.

The UCP committee in charge revised their request to just over $1 million.

And then voted it through.

The UCP just defunded recall/referendum.

Including highlighting that for a government under suspicion of covering up massive scandals, this only makes things look worse.
