Civil service morale rose slightly after Labour took power in 2024, with the biggest jumps in satisfaction in the energy and health departments, an annual Whitehall monitor report will show.

Tax justice, social justice,and taxing wealth. Informing the wealth tax debate. Defining ‘wealth’. In a country, and world, of grotesque wealth inequality and avarice.
The push for wealth taxes has been one of the defining economic debates of 2025. The question now is how to create policies that work.
If we are serious about justice, democracy and effective government, this is the path we should take.

There are many White British minority communities that are not fine and, currently, will not be. Indeed they were not ‘fine’ in the past either.
