Consent matters!
We have to develop a plan and economic model that doesn't rely on the continued growth that capitalism demands.
The planet is finite, so resources are limited; continued growth is a doomed model.

It comes down to accountability. If people are held accountable for their actions, then they are less likely to abuse their authority.
Oversight committees are essential for security organisations, and politicians need to be held to standards - and transparency for issues not related to security.

Albanese has never been an ally of trans folk. His proposal for the religious discrimination bill would have abandoned trans folk, and his voting history shows his apathy. His response to 'what is a woman' also showed he aligns with gender-critical views.

The irony... the likely move is to ban people who have undergone a male puberty, but conservatives also want to make it impossible for trans children to avoid going through natal puberty...

It was more than a warning... conservatives will never stop until all of the groups that are not their own are either eradicated or are subservient to them.

And that's why we have to fight against conservative governments getting elected...

Like all abusers, they believe that they have to be cruel to be kind... And like good narcissists, they'll twist reality in any way possible to make themselves to be the victims.
Classic DARVO in action.

It was inevitable given that the judge only ruled on the procedures followed and not on the merits of the treatment...

25% of disposable income for 2 kids is not significant?
Methinks someone earns too much!

I would also query their statistics on the bulk billing rate - I suspect that they are using the number of items that are bulk billed rather than the appointments that are bulk billed.
October 28, 2025 at 11:49 PM
Not going to make any difference to most GPs who don't bulk bill... The clinic I go to charge $105 for a 23, and $195 for 36. That's about the same as the clinic I worked in last year.
If they want to see more appointments bulk billed, they need to triple the rebate!

Everyone's journey is different. When well supported, suicide is not on the cards for many. The closest I came was when I had very poor medical support after complications with affirming surgery. That took a new GP and a couple of years to sort out!
Ultimately, it's all about support.

Yeah. I was so tempted to try the same as the initial dilation felt soo good, but I didn't want to risk doing damage (had a hybrid penile inversion with peritoneal pull through, so there was an internal suture that I didn't want to risk).

Sadly none of us are... but it's also never too late to start
Better to have started late then never started!

Yeah. Can do the same, but only been finger or toy play for me. Not interested in men. No issues with penises, only what most of them are attached to 🤣

4 years and change now... and given the hypertrophic scarring I've had with a couple of other surgeries lately (shoulder decompression and CMCJ replacement), I think I'm prone to it. Been trying different medications with no success for a few years now!

Give it a year or so to see what recovery you do get, but otherwise, go for it

Yeah... high E gives me mad palpitations... both ventricle and atrial ectopics. Given I'm pushing 50, there are some risks not worth taking.

I remember that initial euphoria. Sadly I had a few complications... one ended up being an easy surgical correction, one was treated but resulted in internal scarring, and the other I'm struggling to get sorted (post-surgical neuropathic pain from the labial scars).
