This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for so much - above all, for loved ones who are with us in our best and worst moments, and who remind us who we really are.

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

The White House says their peace plan didn’t come from Russia — the problem is it reads like Putin’s wishlist. We need a deal to end the war that actually protects Ukraine and doesn’t reward the war criminal who started this.

The Trump regime granted asylum to the alleged DC shooter in April. Kristi Noem lies that the Biden administration did not vet him. But if that were true, why didn't the Trump regime vet him? Is Noem saying they trusted Biden, whom they blame for everything bad that's happened since Trump took over?
WELKER: What vetting did the Trump administration do before giving this suspect asylum?

KRISTI NOEM: The vetting process happens when the person comes into the country and Joe Biden completely did not vet any of these individuals

Government actors who refuse to be bound by the rule of law are not morally entitled to its protection.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.

New in PN: Trump's ugly Thanksgiving meltdown

"Trump is always vile & erratic, but spewing slurs on Thanksgiving feels like an escalation even for him. It suggests he’s desperate to find his Reichstag Fire — a violent incident he can use to rally his supporters & as an excuse to target his foes."

We now have an unprecedented level of income & wealth inequality.

It isn’t acceptable that the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 93%, while a majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

We must stand together & create an economy that works for all, not just the few.

The man from Afghanistan who shot the two National Guardsmen was vetted by the Trump regime earlier this year.

When a reporter asks why he is blaming the Biden administration. Trump asked the reporter if she is stupid.

When reporters state the facts, why does Trump always resort to insults?

A Judge ruled that Donald Trump sent the National Guard to DC illegally and now a guard member has lost her life.

In April 2025 the killer was granted permanent asylum by the Trump regime.

Shouldn’t that be the headline?

The two National Guard members who were shot would be at home celebrating Thanksgiving with their families right now if Trump hadn’t sent them to DC to feed his ego.
This is 100% trump’s fault.

National Guard soldiers didn't sign up to be deployed as local police indefinitely as part of someone else's political stunt.

They're not set up to be local police, they never should have been deployed.

As winter arrives, over one million Gazans lack shelter, with 92% of housing destroyed by Israel.

In violation of the ceasefire, Netanyahu continues to restrict the entry of tents and other aid, including food.

The U.S. must demand that Israel allow full humanitarian access NOW.
Lack of tents, food and warm clothes leaves Gazans exposed ahead of winter
As winter approaches in Gaza, more than a million residents are vulnerable to extreme weather and disease, as Israeli restrictions hobble the humanitarian response.

Sen. Mark Kelly says a president demanded lawmakers be **hanged** for telling the truth. That’s not anger—it’s an unhinged bid for power above the law. America survives only when leaders answer to the Constitution, not one man’s rage. And we cannot afford to look away.
