Can I let you in on a little secret?

Billionaire philanthropy isn’t charity.

It’s PR to distract you from low wages, labor exploitation, and a tax system that’s rigged for the rich.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

*1981 Sherrilyn horrified by 2025 Sherrilyn saying “let’s post Reagan’s speech.”

Stephen froze like a deer in the headlights and pretended to have connection issues because he unintentionally gave away the game plan.

“Plenary authority is complete, absolute power over a specific area or issue, with no significant limitations."

Show people this clip. This is an insane slip up.

LGBTQ people and our history will never be erased, and the lives taken at Pulse will never be forgotten.
In the dead of night, Ron DeSantis ordered the rainbow crosswalk at the Pulse memorial painted over — defacing a sacred space in the heart of Orlando that honors the 49 lives stolen in one of the deadliest massacres in U.S. history.

An estimated 38% of the total corporate cash savings created by Trump and Republicans’ budget bill will flow to just four Big Tech companies: Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and Alphabet.

Just so happens that each donated $1M to Trump’s inauguration.

Talk about a return on investment.

If anyone is curious about the current list of search terms being used by right wing activist organizations to harass university professors, here's a public records request I received today from Mike Howell of the Heritage Foundation. Not intimidating or meant to curtail by my speech at all, right?

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

NEW FROM CBO: brutal distributional analysis of House GOP "Big Beautiful Bill"

On avg the bottom 30% of households get poorer under the GOP bill

Avg gets little - and are worse off if you include tariffs

This'd be the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in a single law in history

No.

Universities do not have to be "in sync with the administration and what the administration is trying to accomplish."

They are institutions of learning led by scholars who follow their research in search of knowledge. They support free inquiry and learning.

They are not political pawns.
Linda McMahon: "Universities should continue to be able to do research as long as they're abiding by the laws and in sync, I think, with the administration and what the administration is trying to accomplish."

Straight white men we need to organize and be in the front lines.

This is it we have been called upon. No more letting the minorities and women do the fighting.

As being the only demographic with protection from the government we have to take point.

So white boys let’s fuck them up.

We're just reaching the point that folks understand the power of AI and the need for there to be regulation to protect us all. And also so much for that "leave it to the states" attitude.
-A 10-year ban on state AI regulations
-A "nonprofit killer" clause that would stifle dissent
-Selling off public lands to Big Oil

It's not just healthcare/food assistance cuts for the poor and tax breaks for the rich in the GOP's "big, beautiful bill."

It's much worse.
