The only measure in these times is "Do you have principles, or none at all?"

The outcome for both resistance and compliance is the same, but the *process* now means the difference between inspiring a better future for others and pushing them toward hopelessness and despair.
The wildest thing is that whether you refused or capitulated, they were going to withold funds. There was nothing to gain in capitulating.
