Hi! This is my entry for Selenada.art 's DTIYS on Insta (Go check her beautiful paintings).
I used watercolor pencils on a very thick and grainy paper. It was a real challenge and I learned a lot. I'm a bit frustrated about the result, but it's a pretty step in my journey!

Artists who take commish: there's a scam going around where people ask for a sketch, then ghost you and autocomplete your sketch with gen AI.

I had given up my passion for drawing when my parents refused me an art school because of the "starving artist" story.
For many years, when the little flame awakened, a voice from the past came to smother it.
It's only been a few month since I decided to draw again, so... we'll see! 😅
