Managed to get the brain to do images again, if only by rendering song lyrics. It's an old fallback. Very rough blocking out of concepts. Not used to working on paper this small too so proportions and anatomy are dogshit. Gonna have to find the bigger sketchbook and try this one again. -D. #furryart

Okay we need advice from People Who Know Things, unlike ourselves. Dr. Hunt wants us to start massaging the incision scars and applying some kind of vitamin E or aloe lotion. But no one in this system knows a damn thing about that stuff. We've literally never bought a lotion before.

Owww. Kind of fucked up T injection this time. All seemed normal at first - no blood in pullback, all that stuff - and it only stung a bit going in. No sensation to a teeny bit of sting is normal.

I just realized something that's kind of funny. When we saw Dr. Hunt, he of course asked to examine the incisions. When he saw them he exclaimed, "Oh, look at you!" In retrospect he used the exact same tone that I often do when talking to a plant that's doing exceptionally well.

Just ordered some new toys and a bag of treats on Chewy for the girls. Comfort shopping but for rats instead of oneself. It's a lot less expensive at least. -D.

Okay, so the fires in LA might be triggering our Dixie Fire PTSD just a little. But it's too late. Tuning out of the news just makes it worse now because the brain just starts spinning trying to guess and predict what might be happening in the absence of real information.
