It's been ages since I - or any of us, as far as I know - has been drawing regularly, but I'm not sure I've ever done a direct side by side showing the differences between the anthro version of our main fursona, Acetyl, and its original feral dragon form, called Drrkhn by its own kind. #furryart

Managed to get the brain to do images again, if only by rendering song lyrics. It's an old fallback. Very rough blocking out of concepts. Not used to working on paper this small too so proportions and anatomy are dogshit. Gonna have to find the bigger sketchbook and try this one again. -D. #furryart

Aha! The fade is starting. Or at least the darkening. They've been doing fine since I stopped feeding them a week and a half ago. There's still a lot of white hairs, but the trichs began to fluoresce this morning. Probably gonna pull them more or less on time at 8 weeks, give or take a few days.

Plants survived. Yay! Decided to try my phone's macro mode. I'm not good at this, but the results aren't half bad. I really like that moss photo.

So what I'm hoping to do is get the elain species redrawn. I did their art myself a few years ago and it just doesn't measure up to the other templates we have. Here's an example... I don't have the blank template on my phone so this one is colored.

My garden grows green this year. And a little purple. Probably more purple as we get further into autumn. I was pretty laid back this year, but I'm gonna run these genetics harder next year.
