This is an important story, with excellent graphics. We need to stop deforestation, and we need to restore forests worldwide. We cannot do this, however, through arcane carbon trading and accounting schemes which don't work. Please take time to read this.
Stopping deforestation is one of the best ways to help stop climate change. But we don't focus on it nearly enough.

Another fevered story in the Daily Mail this morning attacking OnlyFans. The British tabloid press has been amping up antiporn stories, in what I suspect is a coordinated campaign to gin up public (and thus legislative) anger.

Y'all gotta get comfortable talking about pornography and defending its right to exist and for people to look at it, even if you don't (but especially if you DO).
"Pornography" is a dog-whistle, same as "DEI" and "woke" — a pretext for broad censorship and repression of issues related sex and gender.
Unfortunately, too many on the left take it at face value ... and distance themselves from fights. We need much broader awareness and our allies to fight back.
