It would be funny if not so dangerous. Trump's confused comments show he thought the meeting was for military leaders from other countries. Now he's going to the meeting, most likely to try to keep 'his generals' in line.
We’re stuck with the most wasteful and clueless administration in history.

So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again.

Johnson is perfectly correct in his refusal to allow troops into Chicago. This is a states rights matter and only Pritzker can decide on troops for Chicago. Trump should stop interfering in local affairs. Let Chicago solve Chicago's problems.
