I once got lightly busted by a co-worker who noticed that I was using capital letters and was therefore probably on my phone and not at my desk.

Is it to do with participation? Fiction is sometimes described as a collaboration between the author and the reader. TTRPGs are absolutely collaborative (or best when they are). But listening to someone recount a dream or their own gaming experience gives the audience no way to participate.

I’m begging all men who experience this to go and actually see a doctor. I’m not being funny. You should be able to control your piss and shit at least into your 60s. 45 isn’t a “ha ha old” kind of age any more.

I don’t mind ad reads from the podcast hosts, but those automated systems that inject british adverts into US podcasts because I’m in the UK are so jarring. I’d rather have an advert for medical insurance or something that equally doesn’t apply to me at all so I can tune it out.

Genuine advice in case the fesser reads this. If you feel like you can’t aim upwards in your career, move sideways a few times. Just picking up experience at multiple companies, even if they’re on a lower tier, will build up your skills and confidence.
