This week has been a week of shit news. UK Supreme Court ruling of “what makes a woman” (explained to us all by men… how very feminist), RFK Jr’s brain worm making him take aim at autistic people… We can’t be complacent, we have to keep speaking up. But god is it hard sometimes.

Not saying I’m a diehard “respect Adam’s kids and I don’t want to see their faces for their privacy’s sake” person, but a video came up on twitter and as soon as Baby Driver 1.0’s eyes started to come into frame, I hovered my thumb over his face. 😂 Feels wrong to see him after all these years.

We still had an Anderson shelter in the garden of our first house in the 90s. A half bombed out church in our city centre still stands today. My local community bomb shelters were only demolished in the late 90s. My grandad walked home during a bombing raid when he was home on leave from the Navy.

The best audiobook to be listening to when I’ve decided to go on a bit of a health kick is A Court of Silver Flames. Just imagine you’re in Cassian’s training lessons. Just reading about Nesta being able to go further down the steps in the House of Wind is inspiring!
