💥Like Donald Trump, Viktor Orbán’s so-called “pro-peace” stance is driven by pure business interests — something he openly admits. He has already sent a large business delegation to Moscow in hopes of future profits. EU leaders heading into this week’s European Council should be aware.

Orbán's theatre opposition to helping Ukraine is just a distraction from a child abuse scandal in Hungary.

In today's Weekly Outlook, we argue that Hungary's PM is Russia’s most valuable frozen asset in Europe.

💥“We won't tolerate!" and "Resign! Resign!” — crowds chant outside Viktor Orbán’s and president’s offices in Budapest at a weekend protest led by opposition leader Péter Magyar. He still leads the polls but Orbán has vast resources — plus Trump and Putin's backing. 4 months to go until the election.

💥Viktor Orbán is fuming after the EU agreed to indefinitely immobilise €210bn in Russian assets, sidelining his veto threat. He now calls it a “declaration of war” — again ignoring that it was the Kremlin’s war that triggered the move. Orbán's isolation within the EU continues.
