🧵Solidarity with Francesca Albanese.

She is facing a barrage of lies and smears + the Trump Admin is calling on the UN to fire her.

Why? Because there is simply no arguing with her devastating new report on the companies profiting from genocide.

Stay tuned for our interview on @zeteo.com.

@mark-carney.bsky.social I want to believe that backing from taxing tech companies is a very calculated measure and not giving in to the big baby down south. He surely will come up with another excuse to avoid trade talks. I don't want to be disappointed in your government.

The new @contrapoints.bsky.social video is about conspiracies (brilliant!). She says there is no conspiracy master plan. There might be a plan, but not a guarantee. The men executing the plan will leave a lot of devastation www.wired.com/story/uae-in...

This episode of Confronting Capitalism explains the history of tariffs and how they've been used throughout history. It's enlightening. Candidates need to do a better job explaining this to citizens. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/w...

The usernames have to be paired with numbers.
Okay, so you're using Signal for encrypted messaging. Cool. It's a good time to use usernames instead of a phone number to talk to people. That and lots more about how to make the most of Signal's security features in here: freedom.press/digisec/blog...

Moloch: an accelerating race towards a goal that has both a tremendous payoff and that guarantees our destruction. It’s a race to the bottom, where the bottom is the destruction of our species.

Moloch is a race that’ll probably kill us, but that we can’t help but run.

Mexico on tariffs: Ah si? Well, we're opening an open migrant road to the US complete with toilets, food stalls, etc. Canada on tariffs: you can have a 30% price increase on electricity and water. And we'll loosen up border patrol on our side. Have a good life gringos. 👋

It seems it isn't the greatest time to have a retail business. Canada Post is on strike, Orange Man is threatening tariffs, the EU is adding more regulations. Could this actually curb consumerism?
