Games should be engaging, not addicting.
I see ot often that various content creators would describe a game as "addicting" as if that is a good thing.
Sure, they most likely mean it in a sense of engaging and flow-inducing.

I'd never try it if not for a youtuber PepperHead. I never explored much of shmup/bullet-hell genre.
This however is boss-rush bullet-hell game wrapped in roguelite mechanics.

For instance, despite being relatively standard, ubisoft-ish open world, I have great time with Insomniac's Spider-man games.
