No question! The Athletic piece tonight (from @meglinehan.com) really convinced me she wants to stay. I’ve assumed her team was doing some of this leaking for leverage. But tonight I think it’s crystal.

In another piece, the reporting was “on Trinity’s behalf” which I think requires her consent.

And just to be incredibly clear, this is an insane thing to say ever, let alone before the championship game of the season where you allowed a game to continue after a player had cardiac arrest on the field… pretty easy to just say “I hope players stay healthy and fans have a blast.”

Not sure what airline you’re flying, but I was told my Southwest that they’d move my flight if my layover was less than 25 mins. So might be worth it asking if you can be moved!

What I'm really saying here is this:

If the NWSL isn't willing to raise the cap for the most marketable player in the league, one whose desire to stay is genuine & deep, then it becomes precedent to say it's not worth it to raise the cap for anyone else.

It's now or never.

For the spirit, 3 are maternity and the other 2 are SEI since last season.

1 out and 1 questionable is I *think* the least out we have had all season!
