I notice that the Scots government will soon issue bonds to enable it to soon raise money from investors.

The issue of bonds was one of the first acts of the government of Ireland in 1919, and one of the first signs that a country seeks its own sovereignty and independence.

Why is the BBC News going live to Nigel Farage's comments on the BBC resignations when they have broadcast nothing from the LibDems, who have more than 14 times as many MPs or the SNP who have almost double? If the BBC wants to stop accusations of bias they should stop actively promoting Reform.

Westminster’s called the shots for too long... but Scotland’s been watching.

They said staying in the UK kept us in the EU.
They said energy would be cheaper.
They said we were a union of equals.

Enough talk. It’s time to banish Westminster.

Thank goodness someone else thinks this. It seems SO obvious. Let them work and be part of the system. We need the workers and the income tax it may provide. Give people diginity and an opportunity to contribute.
The BBC headline with "migrants" is already terrible and plays into the far-right narrative. And the solution to asylum-seekers being exploited by criminals is to allow them to contribute by working legally rather than making them survive on a pittance.
