robot design is my passion
A character lineup of 5 different cartoon robots, described from left to right. The first robot is based off of the ILOVEYOU computer virus, and is primarily pink and orchid coloured with heart motifs. She has a monitor head, with a heart accessory on her head and tail. Next is based off of Melissa, a more humanoid design with a screen face and synthetic hair. She is intended to have a smooth and featureless body to make her more humanoid, but not enough to be uncanny valley and still identifiable as a robot. Next is based off of MyDoom, who is primarily made up of dark reds and silver, with decorative ridges and an unhappy expression. Because of the computer they are based off of, on their sides are windows where one can see inside of their inner workings. After that is Sobig, who is a good 2 feet taller than everyone and looks very unsettling, and is made up of beige tones with an exposed metal torso and more exposed joints. Finally is Netsky, a desaturated greenish grey robot who doesn't have any particularly special features, other than exposed joints which I use in my universe to indicate older 90's era robots.

A drawing of my oc, ILOVEYOU, who is a white and orchid coloured monitor head robot with heart antannae and a heart tail. She is wearing a decorated pink lolita dress with a big bow on the chest, a section with sewed details, a section that is plaid pattern, and has hearts and bows sewn on. she is also wearing a white turtleneck. The colours are all darker blue tinted pinks, intended to make the feel of the piece a little more unsettling. She is making a heart guesture with two fingers, however it is missing its other half and is intentionally by her eye for an "eye for an eye" guesture. there are drawn computer windows overlaying her with yellow text in the, one has the prayer "Hail Mary" in Tagalog, the other has ILOVEYOU's assessment by the US Senate translated into binary. The midsection of her dress has morse code that translates to "I LOVED YOU". and there is a Base64 code in her ruffles that translates to "LOSS OF SELF". the background contains windows 2000 windows that have the original ILOVEYOU computer worm in the "My Computer" section instead of its intended files. The entire piece has hearts drawn, but even so it has an underlying unsettling feeling. this is intentional to convey something more about this cute "lovecore" character
