So my thought process is: trade something like Mayo+Povich for the best SP you can get, *and* sign one of the top starters (Cease, Framber, Suarez, Imai), which also frees up some roster space for another bat. You could go big on Alonso/Bregman, medium on Okamoto or supplement with a vet like Goldy.

We’re one Cowser head-first slide into first away from full-time starting center fielder Leody Taveras.
I just don’t feel like our OF defense improves at ALL with Ward in left, Cowser in center, and O’Neill in right. Ward isn’t a TERRIBLE defender but he isn’t great. If they’re really going with Cowser in CF full time (and I admit I’m skeptical of that), he’s going to have to do it on a motorcycle 😬
