We lost SO MANY people on 9/11. Two fucking SKYSCRAPERS collapsed into rubble, and two more planes blew up, one into another big building.
And the pandemic brought us a 9/11 every day for months! We’re supposed to act normal right now even though we all just went through this collective trauma!

Probably the most fucked up part of the pandemic was when someone pointed out we were losing a 9/11 worth of people every single day for months. I do not think my brain has been the same since it absorbed that information.

I don't know if it is worth the effort for psychology to reclaim the word "Gaslighting", but a stranger on the internet who is wrong about something, and arguing from their incorrect position, is NOT gaslighting you.
