Cramming microscope hours, mapping, writing, museum volunteering & maths around a 9-5 job was absolutely exhausting. I can’t thank my friends, colleagues and tutors enough for their support and patience over the last 4 years. The Open University is truly incredible and has changed my life 💙

*took I no longer have TMAs 🎉 Forgot I was free for a second 🤣 The anxiety-induced lack of sleep because both my apprenticeship and coding programme very kindly booked end assessments within 72 hours of my degree result is serving me well this week.

I’m guessing one of:
1) They drink water from a mug and see if you recoil in horror
2) They turn on one of those cat/loitering teenager sound deterrent things and see if you grimace in pain

See also any other skill ever talked about. I was at a uni event once where someone proposed Autistics should not be given presentation based assessments 🤯 I’m a Qualified Teacher with a Drama A Level. Give me a presentation any day of the week.

This 👆🏻 AuDHD and my driving is fine and I’m grand on the independent drive with a sat nav but verbal instructions, especially verbal instructions given three at a time in advance. Chaos. Finally passed when I had an examiner who was late with all his directions 🤣

She doesn’t need to be 😐 She says it herself they’d vote for a donkey here if you stuck a blue rosette on it - I’m sure many of her voters don’t know who she is. At least 2 people (overheard in a shop) voted for Haselhurst last year…he’s been gone since 2018(?) More than one election anyway 🤣
