A Blue dot in Kansas! Ex-Tesla owner, now driving a Mach-E GT and loving it!! Latino Atheist!
Got banned from Threads last night, no warning, no reason. All I said was I’m going on my Asian vac, not letting Trump scare me, and “fuck ’em.” Boom, gone. Appealed, but nothing. If that’s all it takes to get nuked, fuck it, I’m out.

I knew that the President of the United States was the most powerful person in the world. However, I also thought that there was checks and balances to make sure he didn't overstep his powers. I was wrong!

Prices are climbing. My $300 power sprayer from Feb is now $399 & Amazon calls it a sale😅. But hey, according to MAGA logic, this is awesome. Apparently, it’s downright patriotic to embrace higher prices, inflation, and the looming threat of a recession. Stars, stripes, and sticker shock!🤣

We know. They gave you immunity.

A future Democratic President could use this precedent—say, to ban all guns via executive order. It’s as if the Project 2025 MAGAs don’t expect to lose future elections. Makes you wonder what’s really going on. This is freaking scary!!!
It was never about birthright citizenship, this is about limiting the power of the courts

I’ve never ever seen Trump supporters so misinformed on so many issues (especially on tariffs and the economy) like they are today, and that’s saying a lot. There’s so many of them, walking around like zombies, repeating false information, it’s freaking scary.

And let’s not forget that our two largest trading partners, Canada and Mexico, still face a 25% tariff. Coupled with China’s 30% tariff, we can expect a significant rise in prices, meaning inflation will continue to hit us hard. In other words, we're still fucked!
30% tariffs are still going to crater the economy and destroy small businesses

This is open bribery. And thanks to last year’s Supreme Court ruling, the President is immune from prosecution for actions in office. So when the executive branch breaks the law, who enforces it? No one. This is seriouly fucked up!!

As long as Fox News is around, millions will keep living in an alternate universe. Yesterday’s gem on Fox News: “Tariffs are working”—apparently because of some magical UK–US trade deal that didn't change anything. I actually laughed out loud.
No matter how many times we say Fox News isn’t real news, it doesn’t matter—because their viewers believe it is.

Watch: It shows exactly how they’re screwing all of us—you & me—because we’re stuck dealing with people who fall for disinformation. And their own viewers, because they believe the lies.

Hey, let’s do 0% tariffs with China—no protections, just a good ol’ free-market brawl (Republican hardon). Survival of the fittest, right? If China makes it cheaper, well hey, too bad, so sad. That’s capitalism, baby! Who needs jobs when you’ve got economic purity?

This is terrifying—suspending habeas corpus means the govt can jail you without a trial or reason. It violates the Constitution and shreds due process. If you're not paying attention, now's the time. This is authoritarianism 101.

Yeah, I work in a county jail and we don't release people becasue they have to wait until Monday to see the judge. It looks like they fucked up and released him, and made up a lame excuse why..lol
OK, I’m told the feds released Mayor Barka rather than holding him over the weekend on the pretext they couldn’t get him before a judge. I am pleasantly surprised, through I suspect the decision was made on a lower level and that the people who made it may suffer.

The GOP-led House spent yesterday voting to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Instead of tackling inflation or looming economic issues, Republicans are pushing pointless bills to please Trump—ignoring real problems facing Americans.

I've never seen MAGA so misinformed. It was bad before, but Trump 2.0 is beyond belief—cheering tariffs, embracing inflation, calling higher prices patriotic. When faced with facts, they just yell "fake news." It's truly mind-boggling how far gone they are.
May 9, 2025 at 10:51 PM
Before Trump took office in 2025, Canada, Australia & Germany were leaning far-right. Then the world saw Trump 2.0 in action—chaos, tantrums, fascist vibes—and did a 180. Even the Vatican said “no thanks” and picked a progressive Pope. So thanks, Trump… kinda. 😆
May 9, 2025 at 1:49 PM
Ok, Chicago style Pizza Mr Pope, I'm down with that😋
May 8, 2025 at 9:16 PM
You know, I don't give a fuck about the new Pope (religion is all made up and fake as fuck I). However, it's nice that he's a progressive pope and not a Trump fan.

You don't have to be an economist, or financial guru, to see this coming!
Powell: "If the large increases in tariffs that have been announced are sustained, they are likely to generate a rise in inflation, a slowdown in economic growth, and an increase in unemployment."

Both of my cars are electric—so are my lawn mower, weed eater, chainsaw, leaf blower, and impact wrench. Why? Sure, I believe in climate change and I’m glad to reduce my footprint, but honestly, it’s mostly about convenience and cost (and they're saving me a ton of money on gas)!
May 8, 2025 at 12:13 AM
The good news, consumer spending is up. The bad news, it's because everybody is buying now before the tariffs take effect.
May 6, 2025 at 3:23 PM
No, he's not dumb, but playing dumb. He knows the Constitution, and that it protects all inhabitants of this country including immigrants. He's just afraid of Trump and. his MAGA thugs.
Cruelty to immigrants become cruelty to citizens BUT cruelty to immigrants and/or citizens cannot happen unless the CONSTITUTION and particularly ITS AMENDMENTS are challenged as completely flawed......
