You saved the best fact for last! That's one of the most important reasons. The other is that he would still remain president if there is an ongoing war. No way he's ever going to leave our WH willingly. If some Venezuelans have to die...they're just collateral damage.

Whiskey Pete has been hitting the bottle again. First, he said he saw everything...the initial boat strike & the follow-up killing the 2 survivors. Now, he says he didn't see the 2nd strike but condones it. He didn't give the order but supports the Navy commander who did. Deflecting, lying drunkard

The Chinese are smart enough to know that disease travels. It never stays local. If it's in Africa today, it will be somewhere else tomorrow. It's logical and humane to help combat diseases which ravage victims while threatening others.

Today ABC's Ian Pannell interviewed an American reporter in the West Bank who described in raw detail how Palestinians are under siege by Israeli "settlers'. What a misnomer! In the American West, "settlers" used the same violent tactics 2 wipe out, drive out Indigenous ppl. Deja vu in the West Bank

And because the statistics support it...SNAP and welfare are the lifelines of more white Americans than any other minority. Once again, trump is proving what he said during the campaign, "I don't care about you, I only want your vote". Yet you did it anyway. Now you're in line at the food pantry.
Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Drunk on power! High on himself. Dangerously deranged. If any other country did to us what he's doing to Venezuela, he'd call out our full military arsenal. If a so-called peace negotiator said we'd have to relinquish some of the U.S. to bring an end to a war of aggression, he'd never agree.
The deranged madman now threatens to blow up commercial airliners flying in and out of Venezuela.

In the Party of trump, it's all well & fine until the policies, actions, words hit home. Then magically, they understand what we've known since ______(insert your trump light bulb moment here). For me it was when he filed a lawsuit to stop the Pequots from opening a casino on tribal lands.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

Cluck. Cluck. Chickens coming home to roost. A person I know who was a trumper has a Hispanic son-in-law. When he showed up at an immigration hearing today, ICE grabbed him. All pro-trump posts have been deleted on her IG & FB and in their place she's asking for $$ to bail him out. Oh well. #FAFO

It's almost as if they're trying to kill us by making it harder & harder to avoid pollutants, chemicals, preservatives and GMOs. Then pushing to eliminate affordable healthcare. Soon, only the rich will be able to survive on clean organic foods, purified water and the best doctors. Is that the plan?
The moves come after a $60 million lobbying blitz from the chemical industry.

This is why you always follow the money.

The EPA has approved two new pesticides with "forever chemicals" that will be used on food.

The agency has also announced plans for four additional approvals.

The approved pesticides will be used on vegetables such as romaine lettuce, broccoli and potatoes.

I stopped buying it before this moron was exposed. The label reads "contains bioengineered ingredients". I'm sure RFK will change this so companies no longer have to reveal GMOs since it does cut sales from informed consumers. Until then, read the label. Know which companies offer healthy products

Sen. Mark Kelly on MS NOW: "I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane. I've been nearly shot down multiple times … My wife, Gabby Giffords, meeting with her constituents, shot in the head, six people killed around her … We know what political violence is.  And we know what causes it, too."

Watched the latest Superman. I liked it, didn’t love it.

Enjoyed it more than the Zack Synder ones.

But my fav, is still the first one with Christopher Reeve.

Probably because I was a kid and the sense of magic seeing the character come to real life.

One of the faces of the power pushers. Phil Knight, owner of Nike, upped his prior $2M donation to Republicans in the last 2 elections to $3M this year. Guess he figured they needed more help. Maybe there should be a bonfire of worn Nikes by all the hardworking ppl, celebs & athletes. Just do it!
